If the answer to either of the above was yes, and you (or someone you know) would you like to learn more about the challenges facing social innovation enterprises and Indigenous entrepreneurship, and how to overcome them, then Allens invites you to attend the Social Innovation Startup Bootcamp!
Join us as we bring together likeminded people, focused on social innovation and Indigenous entrepreneurship, to hear about some of the legal issues you need to navigate to get your startup up and running, how to develop your market strategy, how to get your business investment ready, and also test your idea with a panel of experts. You will also have the opportunity to interact with impact investors and other leaders in this field.
Our bootcamp will include:
- Legal masterclass on key things you should know early in your startup journey.
- Panel discussion with Alecia Rathbone from the Foundation for Young Australians, Matthew Tukaki from Entrehub and host of 'Talking Lifestyle', and Ben Williamson from Combustn, moderated by Elyse Adams from Allens Accelerate.
- Pitching workshop where three selected enterprises will have the opportunity to pitch to the group and receive feedback and guidance from our expert panellists.
- Networking lunch giving you the opportunity to speak with your peers, panellists, impact investors and the Allens Accelerate team.
When: Thursday 11 May 2017, 8.45am to 2pm
Where: Allens, Level 37, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne
Cost: FREE
